Pic Description:	Ukcana lay half a wake and still partly in a dream state as her mind worked. It will be a better year now that spring has come, she thought. It had been very bad winter, the worst ever her young life had experienced. Old auntie Makenra had passed to the spirit side mid-winter. Her medicine ways would be missed dearly by the whole small band of hunter-gatherer knows simple as the People. Over the years Makenra had passed most of her knowledge to Ukcana and her younger sister Cawma. But not all, she knew so much The sisters had studied her ways from under her loving wings for as long as they could remember. Now it was their time to care for the people. I must be strong now. I must remember it all
