The hair was a primitive model made by Gerald Day he has a website that features all his freestuff...
www.fast3d.co.uk One of those three will take you to a place called action babe central where he has a lot of nice primitives for Posette and some other nice scenery and items as well.....mind you they arent easy peasy photogenic you have to be creative but for me the results were very nice and I think his site deserves a look see if its not known about already. Again thanks for the view and any other comments or suggestions on how I can make this type of render any better or more realistic I would love to hear!! |

Nice scene!
Hmmm... fur map on hair; I'll have to remember that. _______________ It's not what you look like, when you're doing what you're doing; It's what you're doing, when you're doing what it looks like you're doing. |

It is good to use fur with the Poser hair along with a slight transparancy to soften the hard claymation styles.....at a certian distance it gives the feel of real hair and it also adds more versatility and alot less render time to what it is your working on!
Thanks for Veiwing and the positive praise!!! |

I never thought of the fur thinggy. That is a good idea. I will have to try that sometime. I use the hair in Poser and that with fur on clothes but in animations they really slow down the process so I have to find a hair that doesn't drag the time down. I love it though. Did you take the picture of where you live? Very nice background.

I use a fur Jpeg on the hair it works like the hair texture if used with a slight transparency. If you use full transparency the hair won't show at all. With some hair I use a bump map also. I found some nice free fur jpegs on Renderosity as well as the background for this render. The fur textures I've found were from an artist on Renderosity named Teresa Tyllo the file name is tyllo_animalfur. the surf backgrounds were found at Renderosity as well only there wasn't a readme file with them, the name of the file is SurfBackgroundPack. They are high resolution and I really had to make the image smaller to get it to post into the album. Anyway, I am glad you liked the picture and thanks for viewing!!

Nice work Maelstromme.
I know two nameless individuals who would like to join her on her next trip... _______________ I've found that to do well with any figure you really need to have a passion for that figure, ...and I hope you develop that passion for yours. |
