Is this Lyne's wolf? I installed her animals too, they are great, but the wolf .obj has the same name and path as the original, It's tricky. I backed up the original in a subfolder, and edited the original wolf.cr2 and other files based on this manually

I hope you backed up the original .obj/obz before remapping...
I copied it into a subfolder of "wolf"
Open the old .cr2 in a good text editor, do NOT use notepad, you'll mess everything up. I'm using free Proton for jobs like this. It has line numbers, syntax hi lighting and handles even big files very fast.
In one of the first lines you should see the reference to the obj

"figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:ZygoteAnimals:wolf:blWolf.obj"

change it to

"figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:ZygoteAnimals:wolf:"NEW SUB FOLDER":blWolf.obj"

"NEW SUB FOLDER" is your new folder name, you can call it as you like, of course, without the "
A little more down the file you'll find this line a second time, just do a text search for the obj name.
Change this too, save it and the old .cr2 opens with the original mapping
