Pic Description: Certainly a movie I''d pay to see. Such a shame about that poor llama, though.

Tools used: Poser 4, Paint Shop Pro 8.

Constructive criticism is welcomed on any aspect of this image, as I am striving to improve my skills in all areas.

Credits: Poser 4 Nude Woman, Poser 4 Nude Man, Poser 4 Tuxedo. Props are all free items, many utilizing my own textures: Posette-- UpDo hair by Kozaburo, Scarf by Rose2000, Necklace by robrose, Earrings by El Lee, Midnight Bird hat by Valea, Airship Goggles by Electranaut; Dork-- Steampunk Gun by Jim Farris, bal-hair by ice-boy; V3 free version-- EndorBraids by mylochka, Atom Splitter pistol by Archeopterix, Very Victorian Fan by Skip1871, P4F Cyber Boots by gpscreations, Antonia Corset Top by Glitterati3D, Kreo Skirt by Mystic-Light; Other-- Locomotive 4662 by Charles Lipe, Mk39 nuke and cart by BeyondVR.

I was (re)watching James Bond in ''Thunderball'' (1965) before making this image, and was as thoroughly impressed at numerous minute details that make it a compelling film for thoughtful and mature viewers as I was disgusted while pondering how the film would be made today (namely, as a pointless excursion into banality, blandness, and bull-puckey). I''m all grown up and I want grown-up diversions-- which I suppose is why I spend so much time making my own art/stories/games, since the alternative is little stimulation of my imagination from ''entertainment professionals.'' For its time, ''Thunderball'' was a film chock-full of provocative and adult-oriented imagery notably out of place amongst its contemporaries (e.g. ''The Sound of Music,'' ''My Fair Lady,'' and even some other Bond films themselves from that era), and now we''ve come full circle-- ''Thunderball'' contains far more provacative imagery presented in an adult-themed tone than 999 in 1000 of our own contemporary films. I''ve enjoyed movies all my life, but hardly bother to watch the ''new stuff'' (made in the last ten or so years) anymore as the lot is little more than pathetic pablum. As our most cogent mainstream Western filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Robert Altman, and Ridley Scott begin unfortunately to fade away into their dotage and beyond, though ''movies'' will remain ''film'' will, I suspect, be entirely dead. Without distinguished voices demanding sincerity, truth-telling, and artistic innovation, such concerns will be utterly ignored by the Disney-mindset crowd of humorless shopkeepers and myopic bean-counters who ruthelessly manage what we see in cinema according to their own lackluster horizons.

In any case, I can only make so many wide-angle portraits in a row before I get bored so I sometimes like to try something different, as seen here. Obviously, the image is composed of numerous layers featuring separate renders. I started with a more ambitious collage including a blimp and a submarine, but couldn''t make it all fit together in a visually pleasing way.

Though I prefer to work with Dork and Posette, I do keep other models in the wings (mainly to see how clothes are supposed to fit and so forth before adapting them to my purposes). The Victoria seen here is the free V3 version, which as most know is barely functional (she couldn''t even manage an authentic villanous grin in this image). Yet there are a few stand-alone free morphs to dramatically improve her condition without spending any money, and if one makes her a decent texture map she can occassionally be of some use (respectfully to artists, unfortunately most textures whether free or not for the DAZ figures frankly look horrible when applied, always inducing my astonishment that their makers could fail to notice this glaring fact) . One interesting point not everyone may know about the free V3: many free morphs made for Aiko3 will also work on this Vicky. In particular, I''ve never really found any acceptably functional breast-reduction and naturalization morphs for V3-- but there are a number of such freebies for A3, and the ones I''ve tried are all fully compatible with the former figure.

Stunning work, thanks for posting.

I'd pay to see the movie too, looks like it would be a good one.

MP, and JB, look great as usual.

I like V3, as the villain, really sinister expression. I hope she gets a sticky ending.

(The Gen 3 unimesh is one of my favourites, the figures can share so much).

I've found that to do well with any figure you really need to have a passion for that figure,

...and I hope you develop that passion for yours.
