I'm glad you liked this Johnny! It turned out quite nicely and I am getting better with lighting the more I work at it. The props I have acquired over the years come in handy for a piece like this one to give it the detail it needs.
This one took several hours to set up and pose all the items. The result was phenomenal. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment Johnny I appreciate it! Castle walls: Old Church by Gerald Day, re-textured by me. Four poster bed, Table, Bench, Banners, and Settle are all free items for Sarah from this site: http://www.jalberts.net/francemi/3dSC/medieval.htm The bed came with the wonderful textures and the detail is wonderful. There are other pretties here for your needs as well. Candles, Candlesticks, Flagon, Fluted wine glass, and decorative bowl with handles are part of a nice dinner set from RDNA called ZPI Fantasy Banquet. They are nice and very detailed as you can see. The floor rug is a free item from Adidas. It can be sized from large like here or kept small. It's very detailed and adds a nice embellishment. The model, of course, is Posette. Hair is from Studio Maya, re-textured by me. Skin is from Happyworldland, Her dress is Uthena's dress textured from one of the many that Johnny has given me. She also wears a locket from Gerald Day and a Snood I downloaded from Share CG, it is part of a Renaissance cap package I found there. I made the fireplace out of primitives and textured them. I used 2 cylinders, 3 squares and one flat plane surface. That turned out well once I sized everything and textured it all. The rest of it is lights, shading, and other tricks and smoke and mirrors I learned to do over time. Also, any positive comments on what I could do to make this piece better please let me know! |

Well it just goes to show you can't rush quality.
You've got a great imagination, to rustle this up. Great work all round with this one. _______________ I've found that to do well with any figure you really need to have a passion for that figure, ...and I hope you develop that passion for yours. |

I appreciate the compliment Amish! I take what I have and work with it to make it my own rather than to pay mass amounts for it on a disc. I get a better sense of satisfaction when I work things out for myself. This piece turned out quite well using my imagination and texturing it as if I wanted to reside there myself. I am ready for winter to come apparently!
Cool nights, Warm fireplaces, snuggly blankets and a loved pet. What more could you ask for. (other than someone to share it with of course!) Thanks again for viewing! |

"In Bed with Posette" I like this series
It's amazing how a single prop we find somewhere gets the inspiration going |
