Pic Description: |
An accidental lighting setup produced a nice render, which might imply a scary scene for an animated action movie.
---
Curious to see how a model from FloorPlan 3D would look in Poser 4 Pro, I loaded a default example of a house in FloorPlan 3D 8, then exported it as .OBJ (or did I export it as .DXF, hmmm...?).
When I imported the .OBJ (or .DXF) into Poser 4 Pro, Poser''s lights were obviously ''outside'' the house... everything inside the house was dark. So, I added one light ''inside'' the house to see how the walls & furniture looked.
Struggling to position the light properly so that I could see more of the structure of the house, I rendered this still image, just to see how much of the ''interior'' walls was being exposed by the light.
The render is not what I was aiming for, but I liked the result so much that I left the scene like this!
To me, the render implied a ''scary scene'' in an animated story/movie - I thought of a story line for this render... perhaps the character was watching television, when, suddenly, the electricity in the whole house went off (only the low-powered battery-operated emergency lighting along the edge of the ceiling remained on) ... startled by it, she quickly jumped up to investigate... then she heard a noise coming from the back of the house...
... what happened after that, I don''t know.
I test-rendered a various camera angles, including more of the corridor/passage/hallway leading to the staircase... & the lighting looked nice for such a scene, but I didn't save the image files.
The figure is DAZ3D''s default V3 using a clothing set I found for free ages ago, Pretty3D''s ''Hi-Fashion Life Style - Breezy Special Edition''.
As stated, this is a Poser 4 Pro render. When I opened this scene file in Poser 6 and Poser 11, the lighting & resulting render looked very different - it appeared significantly brighter, so there it lost some of its ''spookiness''. I wasn''t going to try to arrange the same kind of lighting effect in Poser 6 and 11 (especially since this lighting setup came about ''by accident''), so I left this as a Poser 4 Pro file.
Now that I look at this render again, it gets me excited to do a ''scary-action'' animated movie... but, at my present skill and experience level, I don''t think that it would turn out to be good, as yet... I first need to improve to where I feel confident to do a proper job of something like that correctly! |

Usually in the movies something bad happens to the girls when they are in their underwear.
I think she is safe in this scene.
_______________ I've found that to do well with any figure you really need to have a passion for that figure,
...and I hope you develop that passion for yours.

Thank you kindly all, but I really can't take credit for the happy 'accident'
" Usually in the movies something bad happens to the girls when they are in their underwear." Yes, that's usually the case & that stereotypical situation has been so over-played that I was seeking a female lead character who was more of an action-heroine , perhaps a trained police officer, who took care of matters .

So "Consider some accident as an hidden intention"
