After some iteration, I imported the FBX to Poser at ~5000 (5k) % of default scale, so ''big as a bath-tub'' and scary to match. It came in as ~20 sub-rigs, without a ''master rig'', and without fully loading mapped texture.
To make the model sorta-posable, I set about ''parenting'' the different sub-rigs using Poser Hierarchy window...
BeetleAntennaRight and BeetleAntennaLeft parented to BeetleHead, which parented to BeetleBody, which thus became the ''master sub-rig''.
BeetleLegLeft1_3 parented to BeetleLegLeft1_2, which parented to BeetleLegLeft1_1, which parented to BeetleBody.
Likewise for the other legs...
I used ''Material Room'' to apply the same texture to diffuse, highlight and ambient fields of each part. Most had already loaded, but needed ''hue'' switching from black to pale or white to bring out the colours. I enlarged the texture, masked the eyes white, the rest black, applied this to the head''s ambient field. Setting eye-colour to bright yellow-orange and mildly super-dialling brought them to an *unsettling* glow.
The model may be moved in-scene using ''BeetleBody'' as master rig, and sub-rigs posed with care. Not obvious from pic, but head is turned, antennae slanted and a couple of feet stepping tip-toe...
Rendered locally with Superfly as 32 pixel-samples, progressive, 1024 vols & buckets, using both my twin GPU cards.

A saddle/howdah with reins, perhaps, as there was a Beetle OBJ+MTL bundled...
Or, if I used free Irfan View to 'morph' mapped texture to pastels / albino, 'Herbie goes Walkies' ??
Perhaps highlight the dorsal carapace ridges as 'Racing Stripes'...
