The pose would make a good dance pose.Never the less in my mind it is art.No wrong or right. Its what you do with it that makes people look.I like the special look around the wrist on the left arm how it configures with it.The inside of the cloth. No matter how simple. It is the minute details that make the art closer to becoming realistic and sometimes human.Great work, don't be hard on yourself.

Thanks for stopping by folks... I always appreciate your comments and/or suggestions. Actually, tda42, what I had in mind with respect to the pose was indeed a dance move. Kind of like those Spanish dancers that stomp there feet and clap their hands. Your comment about a dance pose was right on the money. GP., you should really consider Poser 5. Other than the firefly engine locking up when the poly count is too high, it has a bunch of nice features. You can use Poser 4 render or Firefly. I got my copy from Amazon.com for ninety-nine US dollars, after a rebate offer.

I'll give it more thought pappino, it does sound tempting. What is firefly rendering?

GP... in simple terms, when folks refer to the Poser 5's FireFly, they are referring to the supposedly new Poser 5 rendering engine, which is called FireFly. Poser 5 comes with both FireFly and the Poser 4 rendering engine. If FireFly hiccups and it ends up locking up, you can try the Poser 4 render instead. I have no idea what comes with Poser 4 in general, 'cause I've never worked with it. Also, some folks say that the FireFly draft mode is good enough, which is loads faster. If anyone is looking to purchase Poser 5, I found the best deal was at Amazon.com...
Thanks, Nex... If I come up with a simple explanation, I'll PM you... _______________ pappino |

Thanks Pappino, I understand now what the firefly render is
I guess Poser 4 comes with Poser 4 rendererrrrrrrerr lol I dunno, I'm using 4 with the propack installed, I go up and click "render" it renders (well most of the time, sometimes it has more on it's mind and can't seem to concentrate on my measly little render when it's off trying to find a way to end the world or something important like that. Also, if you do anything else when your trying to do something in the material room Poser gets very cranky about that. This has to be the most stuborn and sensative program around lol _______________ I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to just try and keep control over this group of bozo's at the Nut house errr...Clubhouse! --Guilty Pleasures Chief of Bozo's |

Increase amount of virtual memory, and Firefly will work better.
another trick for faster firefly renders is uncheck shadows.. but keep smooth polygons checked, draft still gives rough edges...use production render. I was`nt crazy about firefly at first and I still use it only to compare to Poser4 render, in some cases FireFly gives nice results in skin tone and shadow maps. and it really brings out dynamic hair highlights. _______________ |
