We have 3 Alphans in the Nova crew and the senior of them is my chief engineer Galen Cassus. I asked him for more information about his people.
He told me that the Alphans are descendants from Earth people who was was brought to their new world for aliens. These aliens ruled over Alphan people until two hundred years ago when disappeared in the middle of a attack by unknown forces.
He also told me that Alpha Prime is a old world with one hundred and fifty thousand years of written History. One hundred and fifty thousand years of Human presence and many buildings on the planet are far more older than this!
