The
Renderosity freebie wagon and rails were drawn to wrong gauge, about 66" between inside edges instead classic 56.5". The wagon's scale dial only applied to body, not axles & wheels. The short track section had a lot of internal geometry, shared textures with wagon. And, yes, the 3DS Bug zip-file, from Eric Saltel's BIG archive, corrupted when opened with IzArc, kept 'hanging' Poser_4 at import...
I used free Objaction Scaler on the wagon's OBJ with 0.89 factor to correct the gauge. John Hoagland's free Geom Stripper 'externalised' the rail's model to an OBJ, offloading the scene. QuickZip4 managed to retrieve the Bug intact....
Couple of issues: The default wagon was to scale with
Posette, but 89% is too small. I'll have to accept the rail was a wider, non-standard gauge and re-work the scene. Bug geometry is still internal, so six was this Browser_PC's limit. Bug needs OBJ externalising, and textures setting. Also, as if they're not scary enough, 150% of 'Standard
Poser Size' is too small...
Um, is there any practicable way of pulling
Poser-compatible geometry from a MSTS model / add-on freebie ?? Unzipped, a MSTS model has an internal hierarchy like a
Poser run-time, with a swathe of sub-directories and private formats...
