This image is very nice to look at
, and it's an interesting idea for a demonstration to post a slightly modified version next to it so the two can be compared.
--The most impressive aspect of this scene is the set--the highly detailed arch and surrounding landscape models, which have outstanding textures, and are lit in a way to effectively show off these qualities. In fact maybe it shows them off too well, as for me the setting of the scene tends to overpower the content and story that is going on in it since the characters' appearance is not at the same level of detail.
--The scene is generally well-lit, but in my own preference the overall contrast level would have been increased to both enhance the shadows and make the sky a bit brighter.
--For me the in-flight arrow doesn't work here and is distracting as there is already plenty to look at in the spot it is placed. I think it would have been better to place it sticking out of the ground in the relatively bland area between the horse's right side and the stairs, at an angle to look like it was fired by the bowman on the stairs rather than by an off-screen character as it currently seems.
I like the image overall, and of course if you are happy with areas I mentioned then who cares what I think.
