She's been asked, again, for an interview via web cam, with the Space Station commanders, who her four friends have mutineed against for trying (successfully so far...) to suppress news of their contact with extraterrestrials. Varinka has just discovered that her new boyfriend Alex, the Station's systems engineer, shares her talent for ESP, and he's telepathically suggested a way for her to respond to the commanders' interview request.
