One of the FBX characters I recently tried behaved correctly. Single, intact rig. Mostly posable...
Looking at the meta-stuff, seems it began as a Mixamo-rigged figure.
So, I investigated...
Site wanted an Adobe log-in. It refused my ''Autodesk'' account, I had to set up fresh. But, free. E-mails a validation code, and requests you confirm e-mail address. But, quick...
One aspect of site is you can up-load your own figures and their so-clever software will auto-rig for free. At least that''s their claim...
I''ll try that another time. Today, I settled for down-loading several of their freebie stock figures. You get choice of ''original'' or ''T-pose'' stance, and a range of FBX formats. I chose the oldest, ''FBX 6.1''.
The first ''guard'' imported at default 100% scale as a single rig, but jumbled. Remembering similar, I told Poser to ''zero figure''. And there it was, T-posed at standard figure height. And the next one, please ??
Got better: Click on body part, twirl the pose dials. Yay !!
Note ''Symmetry'' does *not* seem to work. Otherwise, easy-peasy.
PC test-rendered okay in superfly, so I sent a bigger, better, brighter render to ''Box''. Guards'' textures did not appear, which was odd. Then I remembered glimpsing what could have been a file-transfer error message. Tried again. No error, but no textures...
I told Poser to reload textures, no difference.
I closed & re-opened Box'' remote-render app, no difference...
I closed and re-opened Poser, re-loaded saved PZ3 scene, no difference...
Hmm.
Still, ''local'' render was okay, so here''s that...
