Jessica came as both PMX and FBX formats. FBX imports to Poser at default 100% scale as 11 sub-rigs, which auto-load their nice textures. Figure may be flipped upright, positioned, posed using first sub-rig, ''Highlights''. This scene uses the equally nice alternate texture which must be hand-loaded in Poser''s Material room.
Fredina''s crew were NSFW as-is. I opened each PMX file in free PMX Editor then, using the ''materials'' menu, selected and deleted their (ir)relevant body part, re-saving sanitised PMX as eg ChicaD
I converted the PMX files to FBX using Truebones'' ($$) ''FBX to PMX'' utility. Note this first version ports hues, does not call textures. As there are only 4~~6 materials per figure, easy to hand-load in Poser''s Material room.
Figures'' FBX each import to Poser at default 100% scale as two (2) sub-rigs, ..._0 and ..._1. Position, pose using first sub-rig, ..._0.
As Poser may become unstable with ''many'' sub-rigs in the base of hierarchy, I used its tools to ''parent'' the ''junior'' sub-rigs to their first, re-name the Fredina crew sub-rigs ''meaningfully''.
Scene was too complex for my now-ageing twin GPU cards, so I lit scene well, sent job to my network-render ''Box'' as Superfly, 96 pixel-samples, progressive, 64 vols+buckets. Ran in 2½ hours. |
