THis sort of propaganda has been floating around for quite a while. It seems that if you create a free morphs or textures you are called generious but if you do the same with software, you are a commie. The people who are threatened by teh free software, have gone to extremes to discredit it. What they forget is that without free software there would be no internet and the original purpose of the internet was to help defend the freeworld from communism. Pangor

In the newsgroups and computer based forums, there are a lot of people who are anti-freesoftware who spread that view of free software and it's creators. As someone who had written by share of it, mostly by patching problems and sending the patched back to the official developers and maintainers of various packages.
