Poser 6 does have enough clothing for the earlier poser families, but not really enough to be versatile. The content update does add some P4 stuff that was left out. <br /> <br /> Pangor is correct about new users. I started with Daz Studio and therefore was first introduced to the millenium figures and still tend to use them more because I have a wide variety of stuff for them. With my introduction to PosetteForever, I started using Poser and have been collecting for Posette. Next will be learn how to use all this P4 material. <br /> <br /> While many concentrate on variations of Posette, I have considered making stuff after my modeling skills improve.

Most dyanmic clothing made for other models will work on Posette. They need a little resizing, and the cloth room can be used to do that.

I nearly always use Posette. <br /> <br /> At first it was a money thing (the Aussie dollar was very weak against the US back then) and when I started using Poser the Vicky-2 had only just been released and there was still a mass of Posette and Dork stuff available as they were the most advanced, affordable and... only models for a long time. <br /> <br /> When the Mil figures became so popular with the heavy promotion and the usual excitement for something new, there was a lot of former commercial clothing for the Poser4 figures that was dumped into the freebies section on sites or into huge bulk bundles for a low price. <br /> <br /> This is where I picked up so much stuff that my poor Victoria is positivly naked in her wardrobe along side the twenty or so CD's of Posette gear in backup. <br /> <br /> So to get to a very long winded answer. Yes I use Posette and I believe, from what I have seen in various places on the web, that there is still a demand for Posette gear, but it is specialised. <br /> <br /> It's like parts for older collectable cars. The enthuiasts are still out there, using and buying parts, but you have to find them.

Posy you are so cute. I think you tend to forget spaces. <br /> Thanks for letting me know there is still some support for Posette. Can someone post pictures of clothes for the p4 kids that came with poser 5 and 6. I can't seem to find them.

For dynamic clothing you will find it in the props library <b>Dynamic Clothing</b> each in their own sublibrary <b>Girl</b> for Penny. and clothing props, like baseball caps, the same arrangement in the props library <b>CLothing Props</b>

Wait wait wait!!!! don'tforget me! <br /> <br /> I pretty much only use posette, not only for rendering but I pretty much only modle for her too. The quiver i made has a morph to fit a whole bunch of diffrent figures but I think that's the only thing i've done that wasn't made for posette. <br /> <br /> From wat i've seen if you post a freebie it will get snatched up quick. I looked at doing some comercial stuff and asked a lot of the same questions. In the end i found it wasn't woorth while to me to do commercial stuff for posette. NOTICE: I said TO ME. There are reasons for that and most of them simply boil down to time. I don't have enough of it to devote to production, advirtising, and support of commercial products.I even tend to dissapear for long periods of time. <br /> <br /> <br /> 1) while a lot of people still use her there is also a LOT offree stuff for her. People tend not to buy a product if they can find something similar for free. (makes sense to me) <br /> <br /> 2) I really don't have time to provide the support for a commerical product. <br /> <br /> 3) When the mil figures came out almost nothing was free for them .. So people got used to buying stuff for them and the commercial modlers made sure it stayed that way by continuing to keep most mill figuer stuff commercial. <br /> <br /> 4) so many people throw so much general 'junk' in commercial products that commercial stuff is starting to get a REALLY bad rap. There are posts all overthe net complaining about how everyone who figures out how to use the brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, and colour balance functions in photoshop releases a "texture set" commercial package. There are some good commercial products out there don't get me wrong. but theres a lot of junk and just colour tweeked stuff too. <br /> <br /> So i decided i was going to do free stuff for posette and do it so well i put the commercial 'junk makers' to shame. That was just my stance on it though. <br /> <br /> Doing a commercial product amy work out for you. ESPECIALLY if it's something new and there isn't a freebie that does something similar.

I also agree with many of the above statements. Posette is the best looking stock figure. Yes you can use morphs and such to make them look better. I'm talking about body form not details. <br /> <br /> Posette does take a good bit of work to get the details that make her absolutely stunning. You have to do a bit of face morphing. And learn what looks good together ect. Anything other than basic form you either have to make a morph for (i stink at making morphs) or find someone who as made what you are looking for. <br /> <br /> A lot of people like the mill figures because they are so push button. These days go get vivky 3, go buy her face and body morphs. go buy a "character" pack which is usually a texture map set, and pre-tuned morphs from the daz morph sets. (ok ok sometimes there are custom morophs), Go buy soemones light set, and some one elses background image set, and don't forget a 'pinup pose' pack. throw it all in poser. click the buttons to dump it in, and voila you have a nude vicky in a temple with a sword! <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I don't know exactl why but the stock posette has some kind of "right proportions" that other models don't have: when I saw the stock Vicky 2 I said "what is this thing?". I liked and still like her a lot (if not this place wouldn't exist <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/eusa_whistle.gif" alt="" /> ) also because of the "free stuff" and free material that was around her in the age when I began with poser. In that period it was easy to collect tons of resources for her and the dork and do the first pictures. But using commercial product all has to be bought if you want something made with quality. Kaya, there is a market for good quality items for Posette & Dork, free or commercial if the price is right. I don't mind paying for something if I know it's good. <br /> In my opinion, here are a few things which I think she could use: <br /> 1. Morphs to correct some of her problem areas (knees, butt @ severe bends, to name a couple). <br /> 2. Textures are always welcome. <br /> 3. Clothing styles to correspond with different periods in history. <br /> 4. Everyday props, i.e. buildings, cars, furniture. <br /> 5.
