Yes, I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 and I can't simply switch back to the 10 version. <br /> The new technology you are referring to is a new desktop env called Unity. I don't use it, too fancy for me. worse than M$. <br /> I'm on good ole Gnome/Nautilus, so everything should work, I'll figure that out. After all it's a Debian, still.
