Hi Tormie! <br /> That was a really rude email you got. I'd say leave it the way it is and forget about him and those like him/her. You have a great site and the freebies isn't the main reason that i'm here:) I think that freebies can often be what attracts people at first, but it's not what makes them stay. Idiots are everywhere, but i like to think that they are a minority. <br /> I have encountered a few, very few, people that have abused my freebies, like redistrubting them under another name and even one case of someone selling a freebie. I thought about stop giving freebies then. But then i decided that the reason for why i give away freebies is more important to me than a few idiots taking advantage of the fact that they can get something for free.

Sooner or later maybe they'll come here to stay, so I delete only users who don't activate the account (false email) after 3 weeks. <br /> <br /> The download software doesn't have all the features I need, but it's in a beta testing stage, in the future it should be more selective...

I say keep the freebies, but only if it doesn't give you ongoing trouble! There is enough to worry about without assholes like that getting you down. <br /> <br /> The world is full of bastards and I say screw 'em if they don't appreciate something for free. How the hell people can have the audacity to bitch about something made by another person in their precious spare time, hosted at someone elses expense and provided for free is beyond me. <br /> <br /> I am a very forgiving person and ultra patient... but if someone takes me to task (in a bad way, polite, constructive criticism is always welcome) over something I have done for free... look out. <br /> <br /> This is not to do with the Poser world, I might add, but in my other 'real world' hobbies and business. Multi ids at RR for example are a huge problem but the administrators just put their heads in the sand and as long as the money comes in they really do not care. One of the reasons I no longer go there in fact. Not only that many forums will use the names of soft ware to attract members like poser, vue, byrce and so forth with out realizing they should have a underlying responsibility to the products and not allow bashing as negative advertising is and can be very destructive to a company. With that all said I have to say I like this place and if this site can solve some of the problems that other forums have that would be great. Assholes as was written are every where but it does not mean we should put up with them banning idiots should be the first course of business IMHO and not letting them back in under a new id for sure. I originally came here because of the fact that it is a dedicated Posette site...finding freebies was a plus. I don't get here over here as often as I would like, am involved in admin stuff at too many other places. Heck, I don't even get to produce more than one or two pics a month anymore. <br /> The unhappy soul who sent the upsetting message is best forgotten....there are some people who just can't be pacified. Their happiness is found in their misery; their joy is in trying to spread that misery to others! <br /> Keep up like you are Tormie, you and Posy are doing a great job...I am a fan. <br /> :D/

I think we should still have a download page...I feel that if he was so insensitve to not to talk to the people who operate the site to see if there was a problem, then I am sorry to say that maybe he would be better off elsewhere. I do not usually get involved with stuff like this but I get a little fed up with the people who just go around crying me,me, me all the time. there is a real world out there and mistakes and errors happen..grow up and deal with it..lets just get on with life.

I picked "yes, keep the d/l page" but I didn't join for that reason, heck I've never even been to the download page on here.
