Yah. V4.2 <br /> <br /> The train keeps rolling on. So many models but sometime I really wonder if it is all worth the effort. I most of all would like to see a good animation render with very little time and look really good rather than waiting for a week for a big PC to free up to do something else. I have rendered a Video that has 4840 frames and is 2 minutes and 40 seconds long. It took 1 week and I had to put it into 4 parts to piece them together because the memory couldn't handle it. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/focus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/girl_cray2.gif" alt="" /> <br /> <br /> As for Vic 4.2. Thanks for the heads up but I think I have enough people to build without having to pocket money for clothes. It just seems like another marketing idea. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/ph34r.gif" alt="" /> But as long as DAZ and Poser are around it will always be that way. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> But I'm still leaning on the software that drives this mad machine for a render engine that can take full usage of the PC and memory to make renders happen in a second. A lot of softwares out there can do that. With all the money that is pumped into this software you would think they would get it right on the animation render end and then they would get it all right with the rest of the stuff in Poser. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/new_shocked.gif" alt="" /> WOW! Hm, given Clothing room, dynamic clothes and such, have they shot their foot with 4.2 ? <br /> <br /> Can other garments adapt, or have they fiddled the JPs --I'm beginning to sound like I understand them-- so, yet again, nothing extant quite fits ?? <br /> --- <br /> <br /> By curious coincidence, I found a wonderful tut by Thip on conforming clothes using only P4, and how to cull the 'stripped' CR2 of unnecessary actors, welds etc. As he said, using PPP, bones etc only saves one or two steps... <br /> <br /> Now I gotta understand it...

While I understand & agree with the stated opinions about ArtZone (and DAZ in general), I will still use this "tool" to expand the reach of my creations and creativity. (I'm not a fan of MySpace or FaceBook either; but having pages there has certainly come in handy.) <br /> <br /> This recent "event" has allowed me to get a look at the faces & philosphies of several of my favorite artists (yes, that includes content creators...); but I noticed that PosetteForever is very under represented there. I sent "friend invitations" to all of the PF members that I noticed; but some were not answered (you know who you are... <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/cool.gif" alt="" /> ). You know, honestly all V4.2, A4 and the upcoming M4 are is a way to con people out of spending more money on clothing for characters that are a pain in the butt to work with. <img src="https://www.posetteforever.com/images/smiles/new_cussing.gif" alt="" /> I have both V4.1 and V4.2 (I bypass their goofy new installer with a shell directory that I use solely for installing stuff before I move it to the place I want it) and honestly I do not see that much of an improvement.
