They are removing her and all her items from their site. No Sara, no clothes etc. <br /> <br /> They gave weak ass reasons for completely getting rid of her and DW claims she was 'a failure'. HE failed her by making promises he had no intention of keeping. That's weird..... I wrote DarkWhisper an im earlier, i wanted to know the rules for sharing a cr2 for sara2. I was told that Darkwhisper sold sara to daz (he/she thought it was ok to share a cr2 for sara 2 btw - i had to ask since i know nothing about copyrights).

Meh, can't trust DAZ on anything these days..

It is sad! I like Sara and made some works with her. She is my second favorite female character base. Yes tdac her CR2 is fine to distribute I have shared it and the one for her hair for several items with morphs. <br /> <br /> I don't care if they support her, I'm still going to make things for her. And indeed I foget it's nothing but a business to them. So I'm a dork, so I get attached to 1's and 0's. I'm still mad, I'd like to say some notice at least would have been nice, but I still would have been pissed at his excuses. <br /> <br /> Fine he doesn't like her, fine he's not paying attention to the fact that there are a growing number of Sara fans... but why pull her all together? Bummer..but why not use Mayadoll or AnimeDoll instead? AND it looks like fickle DAZ and DW are considering a different option to completely getting rid of her. they are backing down after all the complaints voiced by sara fans (and hey mine were MUCH nicer over on their site then it was here, and you don't even wanna read what I put in my DA journal, heh, it'd make a sailor blush.) <br /> <br /> and don't get me wrong the mayadoll is lovely and i want to do some work with her too (later on), but sara has really taken hold of my heart strings, heh.

The P4 female is more like a human body shape as the original creators <br /> intended. The women I have seen and the woman I am married to <br /> look more like the P4 female. <br /> Sorry, but Mayadoll's body shape resembles something alien. <br /> Don't take it personally Paul Mon, I am just showing a comparison. <br /> Vicky's arms and legs look like sticks. Vicky has a serious <br /> elbow joint problem and the arms are total failures in the <br /> renders that I have seen. Instead of concentrating on makeup, <br /> textures, face and other shit, DAZ should have put out a better commercial <br /> model.

P4 female is the more realistic female figure that I ever seen Den. Your pic showing the hips side by side prove that mayadoll uses some anime figure principles as Ken said. The pic show that she looks like a anime gal. I read an article published in a Brazilian magazine where affirms that P4 female looks like a human being and Vicky looks like "Suzy" (a Brazilian equivalent to Barbie doll) who has the same joint structure. In other words they think that Vicky looks like a "toy figure".

If you can make morphs that change the shape as you like the character is good. In Den's example, I don't know, but if someone can make good morphs for Mayadoll's fingers I think that the result may be good. Mayadoll is a free character and has good points expecially in the joints. I see Paul Mon's Cyber woman and I think she is human-like and fantastic ! In conclusion I think that with the right work with morphs Mayadoll could look like a woman. She has also a large number of polygons in the head and they could be used for good shapes. For Victoria I can say nothing, I tried something but I wasn't able to make good breast morphs...

You are right about change the figure shape with morphs but we can not change the joint structure. And we still have a lot of work to change the figure shape if we like a more more realistic female character. "It is not intelligent to spend money with a "realistic female character" like Vicky who is less realistic than the P4 program default character" said the brazilian article. <br /> <br /> "Poser is very used here in Brazil to illustrate magazines and periodicals and characters used always are the P4 male and female despite P5 characters are available" said the same article.

The hip and groin area are not the best. Partially or fully clothed she works for me. I still prefer to use Possette for most images. If I was doing a totally nude image I wouldn't dream of using MayaDoll. I've never really liked the look of the Vickies and Mikes but a lot of people do.
