Re: Head Morphs From P4 Posette To Victoria 4.2
|
I'm using Poser 6, also I've used Poser 7.
I've had that effect happen to me when I use poses from another figure, and the chin gets pulled.
My remedy, is a partial pose for the head and neck, which are zeroed, from the default pose that Posy first loads up in.
I then make the pose manually, for the head and neck.
I have also seen it during animations where, the morphs, are added to a pose, and again there is tugging as the animation progresses. Not that there is anyone that animates as well as you.
Sorry, can't be much help beyond what I have seen. Sorry, if I missed your point.

Hello Poser - User. I don't know about a V4 morph to make her look like Posette But I can try to make a fix pose for Posette's neck joint (I made one years ago, but I lost it somehow)... Give me some time

Here we go. It's not perfect but might solve the problem.
Tell me if it works for you. If it's ok I'll make it an official upload. It seems to be a common problem

A "Neck Fix" morph solves the problem positively, but the chin slightly distorted when viewed from a short distance.
The morph also works well when we create an animated model.
In my new movie, I need to shoot close-ups, so I'll be working with Victoria 4.2, who have a Posette face.

The second version of the fix for Posette's neck joint is working much better.
I think, that it can be taken as a basis.
Which software do you used for it?
Inasmuch as, the Posette requires correction in Poser 5 and above, so you need to change the version number in .pz2 file.
From:
{
version
{
number 7
}
To:
{
version
{
number 5
}

It was made in P7, should work in earlier version, just ignore the error message.
I edited Posette's head and neck joints. saved the character and extracted the pose file using a script by cage
http://www.the.cage.page.phantom3d.net/scripts/scripts.html
http://www.the.cage.page.phantom3d...._insertion2c.py
I'll change the version # before upload

Not yet. I could give it a try. But be honest with you I didn't know she had this kind of problem.
