Mark Webber ha conquistato un bel sesto posto oggi al Nurburgring e grazie ai tre punti incamerati occupa ora l'11° nel campionato piloti. Antonio Pizzonia senza la penalità stop and go avrebbe certamente concluso alle spalle del compagno di squadra. Si è invece dovuto accontentare del 10° posto.

"Una corsa dura e perfino frustrante che ci porta tre punti in più. Sono deluso per non aver trovato un set up migliore per la vettura. Ho sofferto a causa del sovrasterzo nei primi due run ma dopo la seconda sosta, la macchina è divenuta molto competitiva. E' stato interessante e piacevole oggi combattere con la Bar Honda di Jenson Button, ma alla fine dei conti, è la squadra ad aver svolto un buon lavoro ai box per aiutarmi ad uscire davanti a lui. Ho continuato ad attaccare molto forte per rimanere davanti a Jenson. L'equilibrio della mia vettura era molto buono e la Michelin ha svolto un lavoro incredibile qui in questo weekend. Anche l'affidabilità non è mancata e con sette corse che restano da disputare, sono sicuro che ci batteremo ancora per i punti !" ha detto Mark Webber.
