Post help with poses

#1  messenger 12 Jul 2005 19:23

Ok...I know you guys use mostly Posette but I know some of you also use other models occasionlly like V3 etc...my problem is I did some poses for her and saved them to my pose folder.  When I tried to check them out applying them they were all messed up ..they were all upside down or turned around although the actul pose was still there they were just not in the right position on the screen.  Can anyone help here...am I supposed to save the morph channels when I save the pose?

help I really am ready to pull my hair out on this one

Are you using Poser 6? if yes go to preferences and turn off the "use external binary morph targets" in the "misc" section...

When you save a pose you can even select a subsect of the body parts, it can help finding what's wrong...

Try turning off inverse kinematics before saving the pose...

or your original pose had the body moved to the thubnail pose by body
When you make a pose start from the hip with IK off make the rotation you want to have and then pose the other parts too...
The changes on the body x,y,z and rotation will not be stored in a pose...
