I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard

Unfortunately it looks like OOVOO light doesn't work on Safari and Snow Leopard, Like a lot of other plugins, they doesn't work in 64 bit mode.

Fixing it's simple, force it in 32 bit mode in this way:
Use Finder and go to "Utility", search for Safari, righ click (or option-click ) on it and select "Get Info"  and select the "Open in 32-bit mode", that's it, the videochatroom will work again, once finished you can reenable the 64 bit  mode in the reverse way.

Anyway I found another workaroud.

It looks like OOVOO light is a Java script/program that installs itself under the user library and it checks that you're using Safari and not another browser, while I think there is no reason why it shouldn't work on Firefox, I tried it with firefox and it seems to work (Firefox it's 32 bit).
But it needs a trick...

So, download and install firefox for Mac, I can't give you the link for your language, the link for me is for the italian version, in any case go on google and search for "firefox" or go to

http://www.mozilla.org

download it and install it

now you need the "User Agent Switcher" Plugin, as usual it send me to the italian page, but the english page should be:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/59

in any case if the link doesn't work, go to the main page of the firefox plugins, here:

https://addons.mozilla.org

and in the search box paste " User Agent Switcher ", the plugin will be the first one on the list, open the page, install it and restart firefox (it will ask to restart)

Now on the firefox top bar click on "tools", you'll see a "default user agent" option, go on it and choose "Edit user Agents" , click on "New" and select "New user Agent"

Fill "Description" with whatever you want (Safari 4 is ok)
Fill "User Agent" with

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.3 Safari/531.9

Fill "App name" with "Safari" and click OK. And OK again

Now go back to the Tools/Default User agent, the last one on the list will be Safari 4, click on it and now you can go to the video chat room

See you on saturday in the Video Chat Room <-> <->
