I was playing with displacement maps and this is what i came up with for the P4 cat

This looks great.

Remember if you use Poser pro, use idl, best is maximum settings, except for shading rate, that one is best at 0. It will take a long time to render but on max settings the displacement map looks the best.

A fluffy companion, now that it's getting colder

it takes some experimentation but it works well for fleece sweaters too or fur for other animals.

but dont forget displacement maps use lots of resources, so its best to render it over night heheh
