To all the Blender users I have a question.   Did Blender start off as Nurbana or was Nurbana an offshoot of Blender or was Nurbana integrated into Blender?

As far as I know Nurbana was going to be integrated into Blender, I never knew Nurbana, and never payed much atention to Blender Nurbs Modeling so I can´t tell you if Nurbana is now inside of Blender

The reason I asked was because I found an old copy of Nurbana on a disk I have and the interface, however minimal, looks very similar to Blender.

Apparently it was a separate program until incorporation into Blender in 2006. Google quickie.
