I thnk that they have a sort of unusual configuration, I had an headache configuring all for the forum to work and sometimes the PHP email doesn't work (you can see the error appear) so I've to switch to the smtp server which has bandwidth limitation #-o ... But I think it's better than the old one which was out of order a lot of times (even if they made manteinance during the night, there in the united states, exactly when I'm online...)

you could always set up a linux box online and use that as your own SMTP server... :-k

It's a good idea... Sooner or later I'll do it, but I need: an expensive adsl router, wireless to connect 3 Pc to the line and an old PC to run a linux partition. Not enough money in my pockets :dontknow: >sigh!< ... I could run the entire site from here but I think that the ping could be very high from there and the speed very low...

HA!!
With the power of linux, you can set up an old pc box as a NAT router and use that one to do all your Routing, SMTP serving, Firewalling host your website and anything else. you don't even need a monitor, keyboard or mouse, you can set it all up on the command line. After the innitial instalation of course. All you would need from your ISP is a Static Real World IP. All the other computers on your home network would NAT route out the single IP of your Linux PC.
