I downloaded "Smiley Central" yesterday for mycomputer and I've been trying to use these dang smiles they offer in my form posts, but they don't seem to work in the forum posts on any of the boards I've tried using them on. I see other people use smileys that aren't on the forum's list but I don't know how they are putting them into their posts :(

Nooo! You have only to edit manually the thing, here the users can't use http tags in a message for security reasons, only the bbcodes that are specific of the board, I think you can't use them in that way in poserpros too...
