Subject: Certificate
Hi friends.

Since yesterday I've been getting a certificate expired message for the site.

It may put people off from visiting.

I've uploaded an image of what I see.

Hi Amish, thank you for the info, thou I don't know exactly how to react.
I don't see anything here (Firefox 52.9 ESR based SeaMonkey). Which browser are you on?
PF does not support HTTPS yet. I recall having read something about the newest versions of Firefox and Chrome are marking everything not encrypted HTTP as insecure by default.
I am not able to recreate the problem. Everything works fine for me.
Anyway, I don't have access to the server configuration. If the problem persists all I can do is trying to contact Davide about it.
Please let me know.

I guess it's good news if not everyone sees it, and maybe it's just my setup.

Either way, I know the site is safe.

Thanks!

Hi Amish :hi:

I really would be interested what causes this problem. My browser is based on the up to date Firefox 52.9 ESR, i.e. extended support release. Everything newer is always kind of beta. The error message above states your Firefox wasn't able to connect "securely". That means it tried the connection via https if I understand it right, and that is not yet possible here. If you're using a newer Firefox version and the message is caused by this, you should see it at other pages, too. Have you tried i.e. Englishbob's page http://www.morphography.uk.vu/ ? It is http only still as well. If this is the problem you should see the message there, too. Or it may be caused by some installed extension. I have ABP, NoScript and HTTPs Everywhere running.

Hi Ahjah. I only got the certificate issue here at PF. It did not occur at any other site.

Today, I have no error, it seems to be resolved. Thanks for the interest.
