While I finally decided that the time has come and I must watch and comment all your fantastic pictures in the album that I missed for my (well known ) lazyness I noticed that a lot of old comments in the album has been lost and I don't know why ...

No, I don't know why they disappeared erenda , maybe I've done something wrong. The comments don't take too much space... Perhaps I pushed a "prune" button... Don't know...
Oh, no problem, I was searching one of my oldest pictures and I remembered to have seen some comments under it, but it showed zero so I saw that there were a lot of missing comments, from about 5000th to 10000th comment. Luckily i had them in a database backup !
The Mystery of The Lost Comments! As Pangor I had not noticed but I check it now and all looks O.K.! The funny part is that Pangor and me comment around one of my old Alpha Centauri pics and I didn't noticed that it's older comments had disappeared!
It could have happened because (luckily) every comment has an id an it increments by one with every new comments, so because tere was an hole about between comment n° 5000 and comment n° 10000 it was easy for me to fix the problem, but if the hole would have been at the end, with comments with the same id it would have been more difficult to fix...
In the meanwhile I fixed a duplicate post here by John, I think it's happened during a Posy's thought...
