Hi friends, today I've been told that we're on the link page of a bad porn/fetish etc. site which is http://www.darksites.net , The link that they are using is the first we used here in 2003 : http://posetteforever.100megs22.com , at the time when I had not bought the actual domain name, so I think that we were in that list for 3 years and the damage has been already made. Before leaving the place we had at 100megs22 I left behind a redirect to this domain name, so if one goes to http://posetteforever.100megs22.com is automatically redirect here, so this is the reason why I can't block the referal of darksite to here (I can block users that come clikcing link from certain sites) because it's not a direct linking. Pangor has already sent a post asking them to remove us from their list but I think that they won't reply to him, that site is no more than a link site earning money with banners and spam, but a miracle could happen.

I could block the refere from our old place but I won't do it for two reason: the link was there for at least 3 years so the damage has been already done and in the same list there are nearly all the other known sites, they don't point at us as a "hardcore oriented site". However I want to know your opinion about this thing and thank you for having warned me about it !

I do wonder if their first finding by the link on that site, may be the reason that some of new people who come here every so often think they can post bad things here.  Also why some people who are know to behave elsewhere do not behave here, like Elpro.  As you may recall Elpro posted a link in the intersting links forum to a site in the style of Darksites but even worse.  The link that Elpro posted included not only abuse of women like Darksites does, but also included the same kind of abuse of childern.

In have not recieved any reply yet, no suprise there.  I also did examine thier pages and discovered that the last time the page with the link to PF was updated was almost a year ago.  I am not certain that it is being maintained any longer.

However friends, we can't have the control on other sites nor I have the real possibility to sue them but don't be worried for our reputation, the fact that PF is not a porn site can be simply seen surfing it   ...
