Some of you here in the forum I've found in r'sity. Some of you with equal nicks, some with other nicks. Why is it so?

Next question and a statement: I've registered here because it's important for me, that Posette, Dork, Frebies and "little" stuff don't die. But i make pics with a lot of characters (yep, M2 and V2, too & Toons). I'm not sure, if i should post pics here with them or not. What do you think about?

Finally question: I'm unsure, too, wether i should post pics, there are in my r'sity-gallery - i don't want, that someone think, this place here is for me only second forum to post my shit   . I'm proud about my works, but i'm not a self-satisfactioned one.

I'm still happy about to find a place (this one here) as an alternative to the big  - sometimes disappointing me - marketplace (where commerce seems to be all, and really art nothing!, where great works are ignored, if they are not made with the lastest DAZ-Shit and similar products).

I'm very interested in your opinions about that thoughts of mine.
Fun is very good, i like it to have fun, but in some cases i have to be serious (it's a part of my nature).

You can post your pictures here with no problems even if you don't use Posette and Dork. Obviuosly Posette and Dork are appreciated but our album is for your creations and there are no restrictions.
We ask only to post only 1 picture per day and not porn or explicit sex nor picture of nude children or nude characters that can be confused with children... In this new server we have about 2 Gb of space. When the space will become low I'll advice all of you to remove the older pictures or I made it myself. As you can see here there are no banners, stores or commerce, I pay all with my wages and in order to buy more space I should add banners, and I don't want them :no:...

As I said in other posts, we are not concurrent with other 3D art sites/forum, simply because we don't sell anything, so we tend to be lazy and search only the fun, so if someone want a new section or his own subforum or a strange idea he/she have only to ask   ...

It is just a little place   ...

Thank you PK ! No problems with the pictures, we have used 389 Mb in 1 year and so we can use 7 times this space. I think that we'll go out of space in about 4 years   ...

Poserkatz I would like to say welcome to our home Davide has made for us. The thing with Poser is it is like any art software out there. Some people want just Poser for the software to show thier 3D art. I myself do multiple softwares because it lets me express what I am getting across. There is no wrong or right here. It's just art. I don't do the same thing people do because really why would you want to copy an idea. I don't fit in with some of the Poser people simply because they can't recreate the image I have done. But thats why I like what I do. To not be copied. I like to be diffirent and sometimes people don't like that. R'sity is in to the money making business and that is fine but people have to understand you don't live in thier world, you live in your own. They are there to sell products like a store and display them to show how it looks. Your work is fine. Everybody should be praised for what they do because it's like nothing anybody has ever seen before. Thats the beauty in it. I like to play in my own sand pile. No wrong or right and sometimes I team up with friends and we share the sand pile some. Harold and I had done that and what a wonderful team we where. So sit back Poserkatz and enjoy the ride.

I thought about your same concepts a lot of times Kenny   . I like a lot your pictures because they are full of fluorescent colors and the child that's (permanently) in me like it a lot also because they are sci-fi. Now, what's the problem with 3d art sites? I think that the main problem is that the people who comment other people's work are 3d artists too. Now, I'm absolutely not jealous of other people's work, but it's normal that one think that his/her work is the best or better than another. A person that is not involved in 3d art, a spectator, can appreciate more a picture far from the "photorealistic" trend which gives a lot of views and comments. I've nothing against photorealism, even if I think that I can have better result simply taking a real photo... I'm proud to have some (very few...) fans that never posted a picture, sometimes I receive a mail from Rosity that says that I'm on someone's favourites lists, I check it and it's a person who never posted a picture.

One of my intentions in the future is to try to promote our album in sites that are not related with 3d
art just to attract people who simply have passion for art and good things like those that we've here   ! And it's only for the love of art and fun because, you know, I don't (and have no intentions to) earn money here (   )...

Answer:  
When I joined Renderosity, I heard that it was not a very friendly place and I was new to Poser.
That was two years ago.  I signed up with "enigma-man" just in case my efforts were laughed
at.  That was not the case. I just kept that identity, but my name is on each image.
I use my real name here, PoserPros (Not a friendly place any more at all) and 3D Commune.
Some people don't want to join here so I post at other forums.
My other nic, enigma-man is used on a few other sites as well.

The big sites are more interested in sales by their vendors and they could care less about
the art that people produce.  I am sick of seeing the commercial models in stupid lingerie
every single day.

Not everyone who uses Poser is automatically an artist.  You have to have a natural talent that
Poser and other software can bring out.  I have seen countless images that were mediocre at best,
with dozens of comments and praises because all their  "friends" told them that it was good.  
I didn't see many real artists commenting on those images.

Great everyone's in agreement lets go over to GP's forum and have a beer or some Kool-Aid!

Another reason some have one nic here, and a different nic there, or there, is due to the amount of people logged into those sites. Unless you have an un-common nic, you are not always able to use the same nic.

Post away in the album, we have no restrictions on what you use to make the images, just the TOS stuff that Tormie went through at the top.

I use the same nic in most places, but I came late to the scene and just signed up for dozens of forums at the same time, so it seemed simpler that way for me to remember . Although I don't get around the other forums much any more... not enough time.

You can be as serious or as silly as you like. One thing to remember with the language barrier sometimes, please don't get offended if someone takes a comment out of context. A quick explaination will usually sort things out! If not let one of us hard working, highly trained and usually asleep or drunk... or both, staff know and well see about it

My common nick is Deviant_Viking (with or without the _   ). Some places I'm known as kfvik, mainly due to it being a common login name for me (it's easier to type kfvik than Deviant_Viking   )
