True, that is possible.
By the way do you know the story behind them using the name "Bosley" for the character?
From an interview with David Doyle: Before they selected him to play the character, they wanted to hire Tom Bosley for the part. At the time they had not settled on a name for the character so they were calling it "Bosley's part" and soon it became just "Bosley". Tom did not want the part, because he was already commited to another show. So they selected David because he was a close look-a-like for Tom, but NOT a sound-a-like.
Since the two actors were good friends and they had already been used as doubles for each other in other films, David did not like using his friend's name for the character, adding to the possible idenity confusion. So, he tried to change the pronouciation of the name of the character to somthing more like "Boesly", "Boosly", or bOsly". Such changes were permitted for the other characters, but not his.
