There are a few (and i mean: few) electronic musicians i like out there - but
the usual "new age" "ambient" and so on are not creative and real boring, this
music is very good, if you are sleepless

"muzak", and you will sleep deep.

Techno? Not interesting, only patterns after patterns, patchworked on a pc, with
loops grabbed from a Buy-now-and-became-a-star-CD.

But the roots of techno and co are EBM - the dark ones of this kind of music were
truly independent (industrial, crashtrash, darkest wave), some of those pioneers
are very good: Current 93, Neon Judgement, Death in June and more) - late 80s
till 92 was the best time.
