Just discovered this place and liked very much the good humor, best thing in the world

I'm a new user of Poser, just a few months. Then of course I only have recent versions of Poser. So it seems I have no access to Posette, is that really the (sad) truth?

I checked the forum and found someone asking where to get Posette, so now I know she was a figure coming with old Poser versions, then a pack that could be downloaded for free (couldnt find it at Content Paradise) and then... nothing else.

There is some hope for me? Someone already made a Posette figure for Vic4 or something like that?

Here is a render I made recently. Not Posette, its AS Alice, passing by NY Central Station. Hope its ok to show it here.

I compared the list from the link you sent with my Poser (2014) but... no P4 Woman. Search shows many P4 things like TanyaP4, Val Hair P4, P4 Basic Hands, Clothing P4 Female, even FurnitureP4, but no P4 Woman!

After a session of head banging I started to search and, surprise, found her as P4 Nude. (After that I found her on search, only there is no P4 Woman...) Also Nude Girl, Nude Infant. And Casual Woman, Casual Girl, etc, etc. (But these Casual ones apparently arent P4, clothes are part of them?) There are also P2 and P3. Well, she evolved very well

Perfect so now I can start playing with Posette too! Yay!


Now, before anything, what are the site rules about nudity? Its always a delicate subject...

It was only afterwards, I pondered that I should have mentioned her other alias, that of P4NW (Poser 4 Nude Woman).

Great detective work.

As I understand it there was Poser 3, that is when Posette first brought sunshine to the Poser world. The Casual figures, on comparison are also Poser 3, as are the Nude children.

It was only Posette (Nude woman), and Dork (Nude man), that got an update for Poser 4.

Please have a look in the Free Stuff, and in the forums, while most of what was once available for Posette, has gone, there is still plenty around. You'll find that she may need some work to make her feel like your own, but once set and done, you'll be very happy. Any questions just ask.

Now if I remember rightly P4 man originally came without genitals, but at some point later he has them in a newer version of Poser, your P4 Man, should be complete, if you so desire to have him that way.

As for nudity, take a look around the gallery, and you'll see hopefully some tasteful art type nudity, not the full on porn type.

(You'll also notice we keep out subjects that cause division like Religion, no offense to anyone, but it keeps the peace).

If you do post a nude picture, and it vanishes from view don't take offense in anyway, it's not personal and you can ask by PM, to the Admin, if anything was wrong, and what to do so it is not taken down next time around.

We all understand that when we meet new people, it can take a while for us all to know each other better, this is PF, we hope you'll appreciate over time this is a place where nobody makes expectations on anyone, we come here to relax, and have fun with friends.

As I see Chromium and tda42 have taken care of you already. So all left for me to do is to wish you a lot of fun exploring the possibilities older Poser figures hold. Especially short rendering time, if you like quick results (like I do )
