Today Lightwriter upload three pictures at once   you know that only one per day is permitted . I think he haven't checked the rules, so I gently explained him the situation. However I've moved the exceeding pictures in the testing directory (you can see them but they are not visible to normal users) and I'll take care of put them in place tomorrow and the day after

Have you though about loosening the resrictions to maybe two or three pics a day, or something like a weekly instead of a dayly limit.
That would be more flexible. I've had this problem before. I don't work so regular with Poser. Sometimes, I don't do nothing for weeks, and then I do three or four pics on one day, but I can only upload one and forget about the rest the next day
The weekly solution would avoid "gallery bombing" same as good, and the page software should be able to do it...

Thank you Andreas, I think that our actual average rate is one picture a day uploaded in the gallery from all the users. Once you go in the album you can see the last 5 pictures on the top of the main page So, for example, if an user upload 5 pictures we risk that another user's picture is covered. And I don't know you but I wouldn't not like to watch and comment in the daily uploads more than one picture per user. This usually happens when a new user want to upload his or her whole gallery to the album in one passage. However , maybe we'll change something     and the opinions are very welcome !

I don't think, bulk uploading will happen this often.
The problem of a new pic burried fast can happen, anyway.
It happened to me some time ago. Uploaded one of my portraits, half an hour later there was a fresh upload of one of Whazizname's great cars, an amazing SciFi scene from John, a little bit disturbing stuff from erenda, a Model Beauty from Pangor, and a shot of Thilda's cute doggies ( ). My pic already dissapeared from the front page
As I said, it happen's anyway from time to time
